Infinite
This piece was inspired by a quote from Stephen Chbosky’s that deeply resonated with me: “and in this moment, we are infinite.”
I painted the Seagull Nebula in luminous acrylic magentas, set within a field of stars to evoke the vastness and wonder of the Universe. Suspended in front of the painting is a transparent panel bearing ancient symbols representing the cycles of life and infinity.
Together, these layers reflect my sense that we exist within something far greater than ourselves, an endless continuum of beginnings and endings, expansion and return. This piece is an invitation to contemplate those rare moments when the boundaries of the self dissolve, and we feel profoundly connected to one another and to the infinite.
